"I booked a vacation in early Nov for a Feb stay. When we got there we were booted to a different resort so Tucancun could accommodate a large business party. Not cool. I had to travel on my birthday, checking out at 11am and not being allowed a room at the resort I actually booked at until 3pm even with a request for this 2 days prior. "Hotel was amazing. Plenty of restaurant options so even after 6 evenings we were still not bored with the food. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Only real downside was the entertainment - most big things with offsite at the sister property (free shuttle) but still. Also, people were taking chairs and saving them with towels as early as 6:00 am so didn’t leave many options."
