Cons were lack of deck chairs after 930 am(towels took most of the chairs), beach has lots of rocks at shore so be careful, only one small bathroom for entire outdoors unless you went inside, food or drinks resulted in a stomach challenge for a few days and we never ate off property. "Excellent hotel and location. Right by a local bus stop. Nice pool with a beach also accessible at the property. Every car coming into the property is stopped before entering. I also had a small outdoor area to sit down right outside my room. Staff was helpful as checking in and out was smooth as can be...Should I go back to Cancun in the near future, I know where I'll be staying!"

"Traveling in a budget requires to take a little risk. However this hotel was very affordable, quiet and clean. The staff working at the front desk were very friendly. The pool was refreshing and clean. Total silence at night, you don't even hear the road noise. The location is good if you don't need to be in the middle of everything. A short walk to a public beach, but crossing the main road towards the beach areas is very dangerous because cars don't stop to let you cross the road. Other than...

"I found that a layout of the hotel inside and the resort outside was very convenient and enjoyable. Cleanliness and choices of restaurants and cafes deserve the highest rating. However rooms are rather outdated and lack of entertainment for teens disappointed us. Hopefully RIU will renovate the rooms and organize entertainment for teens by our next visit. "
