There was nothing over the top about this property. It is outdated and understaffed. Very slim dining choices. Told we had to make a reservation for everything but the buffet but there was no reservations available for the other 2 places. Had to pay a $5 service fee for room service which shouldn’t be for an all inclusive. Random peddlers running off the beach away from police and no security stopping them from coming up into the pool area or even the lunch buffet area and getting food. Extremely difficult to talk to staff. At one point asked for the manager and was told “they are eating lunch” and they refused to speak to me.

Dining options were limited unless you owned a timeshare with the resort We were there for Christmas, so it was extremely busy and an elevator wasn’t working, which caused alot of congestion So many people were complaining about their room keys not working; we had to go to the front desk (whose line was always long) almost every day of our stay Staff was very nice and toons were nice and clean

I had an incredible vacation experience at this hotel, everything was top notch, the service was incredible, clean, beautiful and there was a very wide variety of food and drinks, very wonderful shows that took place every evening, any problems were solved very simply and quickly, the biggest plus is of course the beach, very beautiful and safe

It's a great place to go with kids. Food is excellent. However, I can only give it 4 stars because Internet connectivity was not reliable. Also, the concrete along the balcony ledges seem to be breaking apart which was slightly scary. There is a building being constructed with loud construction noise all day.

The food was terrible. Roaches in the only dining place they had which was the Buffett. Room was at least clean. One towel rule which is ridiculous. Alcohol was bottom of the terrible. They said they had a reservation restaurant but restaurant, concierge and front desk could not give you a reservation and app did not work. Key cards for pool towels is stupid.

The facility was quite old and worn out and wasn’t able to try the other restaurants apart from the buffet because you have to make bookings way ahead of time. That’s the only negative thing I have to say. Otherwise most staff were courteous and helpful. Dana left quite a good impression. Entertainment was great - from aqua fitness to jazz band to Spanish dance groups. The property is on the beach front, 15 mins to the airport and few mins drive from La Isla mall

Most of the employees are rude and don’t understand when you ask them a question. Sometimes you have to ask multiple people before getting your question answered (if at all). It’s even more frustrating when even front desk doesn’t comprehend when you ask a simple question, major language barrier. Outside of the hotel, the locals are nice and friendly. Food is pretty horrible for the most part, my stomach was upset for 3 out of the 5 days, at least I brought pepto. Food and drinks outside the hotel are good. Drinks in the hotel have very little alcohol and taste artificial. Room was a bit stuffy, seems like it lacked ventilation. We had family staying in a different room and it was the same issue. You have to call them multiple times before they finally answer, sometimes they don’t even answer; however if they do it’s after the phone rings for awhile. Trash on the right corner as you’re driving up to the hotel. On the top of the building around the roof is black, needs to be repainted. Limited restaurant options. Entertainment is lackluster, some of it is also inappropriate for kids. The new years celebration was good though for that I’ll give 2 star. I would never return to this hotel
