"First time to Catalonia Riveria Maya resort it was all we wanted for a first visit. Are newly renovated room was first floor and garden view which was quiet when we needed it and the pool and its activities were entertaining. Food from buffet was really good, yes it had some repeated items, but new additions were added keeping it with a good variety. "My son was injured on the water slide. We signed the waiver, so I guess that's our fault for letting him do it, but it was more dangerous than it appeared for smaller kids and should not be allowable without a weight requirement. Food and drink were good and easy to get a table without waiting. Swimming area was nice, especially for young kids. More rocky that I expected on the beach. Staff were all very helpful. "
