I liked the nightly shows. The variety in the buffets. The pools were marvellous. The rooms were spacious with outstanding bathrooms ( huge jetted tub and awesome showers) Only thing I did not like was the thought of putting dirty toilette paper into the trash instead of flushing it awayā€¦so I brought biodegradable toilette paper I specially ordered for the trip ( I read previous reviews lol) Great stay all around, Staff weā€™re wonderful!

By far the worst resort I have stayed on. Staff was extremely unhelpful. The resort is huge, and there was barely any shuttles going around. The food in the dining hall was completely garbage, and you had to book the restaurants 2 days in advance, and even then it was usually booked up.

The bad: -Behind the toilet was disgusting, moldy and clearly not cleaned for maybe months -Our AC didnā€™t work upon arrival -Our fridge was broken -There was a large hole in the screen door at the bottom that allowed wild life and bugs to get in -Our door locks were broken twice within 24 hours. They claim the battery died twice. We waited over 30 minutes for someone to come let us into our room after being told it would be a 5 minute wait -There was no outlet above, below or beside the left side of the beds nightstand -The TV was tiny and very old -There was no lock on the outside of the swim out door -There is only one shuttle and it takes up to 45 minutes to pick people up. This is a big resort so expect lots of walking and no shuttle -The wait for a drink at the bar was crazy. They are under staffed and for the most part the staff arenā€™t tentative -There are lots of bars on the property but after 8pm it was a 15 minute walk to an open bar from our room -The deadbolt on the door doesnā€™t keep the staff out -Our swim out room didnā€™t connect to a swim up bar but the swim outs on the Sunset side do -The theatre is indoors and doesnā€™t have enough drink tables -Entertainment is mediocre -Resort doctor is expensive (185US$ Perscriptions) The good: -Food is good and always available -In general the resort is well kept -Lots of pools -Lots of cool wildlife -Three swim up bars -Cute little nightclub -The staff that are good are great. 3/5

Absolutely loved this resort. All of the food was great, staff were friendly and welcoming, and the shuttles to Playa Del Carmen made day trips easy. Shout out to Hugo for helping us plan excursions that perfectly matched all of our wants!

The only nice thing I have to say about the property was the room was very nice and they have a great taco stand by the pool. I stayed in platinum room which is all the way in the back of the resort, they have shuttles but there is 6 shuttle stops so you will be walking a lot. They say you can call for a shuttle but youā€™ll be waiting for 20 mins. The service was terrible, Carlos the supervisor for the platinum rooms told me they were celebrating there 41 years and invited me to a breakfast complimentary on him, the day of the celebration he calls my room at 8:15am rushing me down to then find out it was all a lie and he was just trying to pitch me a timeshare where I sat with his workers at the inclusive buffet thatā€™s free when thatā€™s nothing he has told me before it was my birthday and I donā€™t like being rushed or anything I was also late for my excursion that day which they didnā€™t care. I will not being staying at any princess resort associated with this company.

Itā€™s a huge property and for me thatā€™s where the attention to detail gets lost.We only had one hot meal the whole week.A la Carteā€™s are almost impossible to book unless you want to eat really late(we donā€™t),or completely full. The buffets were terrible,cold food,usually picked over so much thereā€™s limited choices in what to eat.Its a beautiful property but it just wasnā€™t for us,weā€™ve been to much better. Wonā€™t return unfortunately.
