Group of 9, we had a wonderful time at this resort. From the front desk (guest services) team (especially Gabriela and Yair). The bartendar (Jorge -- aka Jorge from the Jungle) was on point with the drinks (worth paying $12 extra for Hennyrita -- you only need 1, two max). Manuel at the Japanese restaurant was awesome as well! Although we took great pics on our phone, the pics from the Photo store at the resort, were outstanding! Although we traveled the beginning of December, the resort had the lobby, walk paths to the beach, etc., beautifully decorated. At the end of the day/trip, a great time was had by all -- I definitely recommend this resort, without hesitation. If I had to say anything slightly negative, it would be that most of us had priviliege rooms, the only time I saw by butler was when we checked in. I am not blaming the resort, as I was provided his WhatsApp info, but his services weren't really needed. Also, I highly recommend the room service food, I believe it is cooked by the Sports Bar staff (kind of tucked away across from the Photo Shop).

Staff was amazing - Noteworthy Bartenders were Herbert for morning mimosas in the lobby, Miguel and Francisco and Jony kept the pool going strong, and Octavio wins the evening lobby bar. Cisco has the greatest personality and ask him about his family before sailing. Fresh food, lacked authentic Mexican flare for our taste buds. Daily activities were above average, and night activities were both excellent and average. Room was average and we did experience a hot water heater replacement and water outages but remedied within a couple hours. Drainage around the property needs work so when it rains you have to modify which path you take. The hot tubs need updating and only one of 2 was luke-warm at best. The gym was our least favorite, 6 people is very crowded.

We had a fun family trip to OMR! We loved Kendall and the entire experience team; The team was engaging, personable and entertaining. We liked the cuisine at Blue Moon, the buffet and tacos/nachos at el charro best. The nightly shows were fair; we experienced better at other playa de Carmen resorts. The room 3806 stayed cool with the a/c on but there always seemed to be a humid smell/feel to it. Building 38 is good proximity to the pool/beach area but late night noise could be heard from a neighboring resort. This was bothersome to some in our group. Transportation around the resort by golf cart was on an as needed basis, no continuously running transport as we have had at other Cancun resorts. We had no trouble getting rides for my elderly mother in law and my spouse by dialing zero on the resort phone. But if walking is difficult this may not be the best resort for you. We booked one excursion from Margarita at the resort. It was the catamaran to Isla Mujeres—weather did not allow for snorkeling and the island of Isla Mujeres is forgettable and overall run down. I paid more for a drink on the island than I pay in the US. Golf carts were $50-$100 US per hour—waste. We will never visit that island again.

Have been several times but disappointed in changes for entertainment. The staff our great but have had things change that are out of their control. No microphone so you miss half of what’s going on. It’s hard for them to get people to participate when you can’t get their attention. Use to have fun Mexican music and other throughout time. Now it seems like dining dinner time. A saxophone, guitar and violinist are beautiful but not meant for poolside time. We love the entertainment staff bartenders etc but if continues with what seemed boring entertainment we will have to seek a new place. I understand mostly because people at “quiet pool” complained it was changed. Think moving the speaker over just on activity pool helped that alot so maybe we can get music and microphones back
