"if you have any doubts about where to stay, look no further. i had a wonderful time at the Excellence Riviera. Their app made things extremely easy and convenient for us. the staff is just amazingly nice and respectful. no one got sick, which was our worry. the food was alright, definitely not the best but we didn’t starve. drinks were tasty and the bartenders were always kind when we asked for extra shots in the drinks. just book here :)"

"Food Food Food! This place has amazing food. More specifically it has an amazing sushi restaraunt and all inclusive authentic mexican taco bar. Food is amazing, Staff is friendly and fun. The beach is a bit sad looking compared to other resorts, but the drinks are good and not watered down along with pools and party area. Great place to stay!"

"Hi, we had a very nice vacation at this resort. All the staff were extremely friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we were all well taken care of. Gustavo in the pool bar was excellent and even when very busy made sure everyone was always taken care of quickly and with a wide selection. Reception staff were always willing to help with any questions from getting us checked in and out efficiently, with currency exchange requests, and with requests for fixing issues in the room when requested. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, including the balcony and beds. Some areas that could be improved was ensuring all buildings have working elevators (our building was out of service but we saw many others in service), the teen room was under maintenance so not available and would have been great when it rained or during peak day sun. In addition, the water pressure was sometimes spotty in the evening especially the hot water, and one evening when our breaker needed resetting we were unable to reach the front desk by phone but were able to walk down and get assistance. Also, for restaurant reservations via the web portal, we found availability very challenging as it opened for selection at 8am but by 8:15a most spots were filled. the excellent concierge service to get booking for our larger group of 10 most days which was great. While most food was very good, we did find sometimes that it was blander than we were expecting though there was always a wide"

"This is the best resort we have ever stayed in! The food, drinks, service, pools, beach, etc was absolutely perfect. We couldn't believe how great it was. We kept waiting for something bad to happen but it was all perfect!! Highly recommend and we will be back."
