Mateo at the bar outside of the buffet was an absolute gem! This man knew our drinks and kept them coming. He was informative and helped us plan our visit to isla murjeres. We stayed in diamond cub and our butlers irving, jesus and sarah were very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. Restaurants were amazing, zen hibachi was a great experience. The buffet also had ample food and Hunter Steak house was fabulous.

For me everything was good. I like location of pools, ocean, beach, bars and restaurants, stores, everything is walking distance. All property is clean and neat. It is not a new resort and something needs renovation but it did not affect my stay!

Our stay here was awesome. It is one of their oldest resorts, which means it is outdated. However it is still very clean. They are searching heavily for buyers into the diamond program to pay for the renovations, so beware of free breakfasts and discounted attractions, it is a sales pitch. Depending on who you are, 30-90 minutes for some discounted perks might be worth it!

The royalton resort took a major decline since we were last there about 5 years ago. The food is mid for an all inclusive it used to be much better, the resort needs to be updated. The nice part was they upgraded us to hideout so it was nice and quite but I don’t know if I would ever return to the same property again I would like see what other resorts are out there overall we had a good trip

The staff was wonderful. Food was much better than any other all inclusive we have been to. Noise level is good, no super loud pool parties in the middle of the day. Our room was very nice with a two full bathrooms. The sofa bed needs to be replaced but my son just decided to sleep on the large lounger and was comfortable
