Overall, our stay was average. Most restaurants on site required reservations for dinner, and it was nearly impossible to get reservations to these places unless you wanted to eat at 9pm. The food was nothing to rave about. Our room smelled extremely musty, even with a dehumidifier running continuously. The spa area had a bunch of mold on the ceiling and when it rained there were areas of leakage in the lobby. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially to our handicapped friend that traveled with us. They kept the hotel quite clean and were great about tidying up our room every day.

I’ll start by saying I will definitely be back here; I can’t think of a single complaint! I want to specifically shout out activities coordinators Fernanda, Amanda, and Yael for doing everything to make sure I had a good time while I was there. I visited by myself and wasn’t sure if I would have fun alone, but I really appreciated them going out of their way to make sure I knew when and where the best activities were so that I could meet other people. They instantly treated me like a good friend, and from seeing how they interacted with me and others I could tell that they all genuinely enjoy what they do and putting a smile on people’s faces. I’ve been a manager in the hospitality/service industry, so I know how rare it is to find people with that attitude. Thanks very much for everything and can’t wait to visit again :)

The front desk and customer service were very kind and helpful. However, the general service staff, especially in the restaurants, were average. The food quality even in the reservation-required restaurants was below average and most dishes were not fresh (except for the Japanese Restaurant). The pool floors were constantly sandy, and we never saw them being cleaned. The coffee shop was nice. Our room was on the 4th floor, and most of the time the water pressure during showers was low. Additionally, when turning on the water, there was an unpleasant smell coming. The entertainment and shows were below average. Especially, the New Year's Eve dinner and show were poor. We would not choose this hotel again.

Check in was very quick. The staff and amenities were great.the resort is very large. So be prepared to walk. Lots of activities. I like that they have an app to view activities and restaurants. You can make reservations at the specialty restaurants on the app. We were only able to get one reservation in 5 days. It was good though. The only thing that turned me off was after check in - they had someone start talking to you about the amenities of the hotel and then want you to go to a special breakfast to tell you about their timeshare/vacation properties. We skipped it as we are not interested in timeshare vacation rentals. And the naming of their timeshare vacation rental portion they called the “privileged”. Maybe call at the Premier area. Everybody that pays for the vacation here is special and pays good money for their vacation here. Other than that all good.

Overall Tue trip was very good , it was very hard to book dinners every night , many nights we couldn’t not even book anything resulting in eating at the buffet a few times which the food there was the same each day and not very warm. We peeked into some restaurants and they were only half full even though we couldn’t book them for a meal. Not sure if this was employee shortages or what the reason was. In The end we, we never got a chance to eat a few of the nicer restaurants like the Sensai, or the Bluemoon .

We enjoyed our stay. The ocean view room was nice. Good beach, although hard to find a chair. Staff is great. The buffet has limited selection and no variety. The specialty restaurants are not great either, the menu is very limited. Drinks are poor quality if you don’t buy a privilege package.
