"Beautiful resort and amazing staff (they were the highlight). Our favorite was the cabanas on the beach. Under new ownership with renos underway so lowlight was loud construction one night until 2 am and no running water on our departure day at 5:30 am (no shower before long travel day). There were no 'heads up' about these. Got called daily about meeting with sales person for excursions, etc, despite being very clear we weren't interested. "Dated rooms with AC not as cold as you'll want, I asked to change rooms because of a mold smell but was not able to get one, they just sprayed an Air Freshener that smelled like Vicks. Also, I tried to get an upgrade as a VIP benefit several times and they always seemed to never have anything available. What was the point of being a VIP on Expedia? Other than that everything else was great. "
