"The experience was amazing, staff was so friendly and helpful everywhere you go. The beach was beautiful. I went with my best friends and we love taking picture so we were glad there was many “astheticly pleasing” places in the resort to take pictures. I wish we would’ve stayed longer, it was an amazing time. I would recommend having other activities booked outside of the resort so you can have more fun but other than that there is a lot of daily activities you can do in the resort. "

"The reservations at restaurants and Bali sun beds for Stay and Play Members only ( SPM) When we arrived we were informed reservations for the restaurants were not required. Marked on my resort map by reception. I was very displeased to find out as a Non- SPM, it was not the case of reservation not being required, but Non-SPM's were not allowed to make reservations. As they closed the individual restaurants on two evenings . The Pearl one night for SPMs. The Aphrodite on the Friday night for another non disclosed function. The Aphrodite is the largest restaurant , so this means the rest of the resorts guests were required to wait for availability at the Sushi Restaurant (in the rain) or the Pearl an hour wait (under cover) as SPM's with reservations were welcomed. As Non-SPM's, we were were offered the last two sun loungers available, this is at 7am in the morning . When we asked about the Bali Beds, as we were not SPM's, the beds not available to us. Now, we will never be members of any single resort chain. We enjoy travelling to many destinations to much. However, if policy excludes guests from using or booking amenities, this policy, should be included on your website or passed on to your Booking Partners. This was not the case! Positives, everything else, staff are wonderful, food is excellent , quiet areas outstanding. Spa very professional . Innovative, elegant dining experiences with a MXN flair. Guests responded by aslo dressing to the 9's"

"Lloyd the owner was super attentive when I directed the taxi driver to the wrong property. Both he, and Varo the property manager were kind, and patience and informative. It is a family property so please support it over the mega complexes popping up in the area. Super laid back and comfortable. Easy walk down beach to the city of Puerto Morales "

"I had a swim up pool ocean front view in the excellence club area and loved the view. There were people getting up early in the morning to save spots but I didn’t have to worry because I was right there and had my own outdoor patio bed. The servers are attentive and come around to take drink orders. Housekeeping were attentive and made art out of the towels which was refreshing. I thought the bed was really comfortable and didn’t care too much for the room bar but I requested for other bottles to be swapped out during check in and reception told me it could take up to 2-3 days but never happened. I enjoyed drinks most at the Excellence Lounge because of the top shelf alcohol which you don’t find at many of the bars. I love that there’s a variety of restaurants and food options but I would not recommend the food from Spice if you are looking for authentic Korean or Japanese food. The room has wear and tear so don’t expect perfection. I could tell from the walls that they were painted white often and couch sunken in. The staff were friendly and approachable. I felt the size of the resort was perfect, not to big or small. The amount of activities were good and there was always something to do."

"Wow. This place is a treasure.It is very clean and has everything our group needed for 9 nights over the holidays.The view is STUNNING and it is absolutely incredible hanging out in this home with the doors and windows open, the breeze, and the sound of the ocean.We spent so much time just lounging on the balcony and didn't want to leave.The hosts were very prompt with communications, super friendly, and very accommodating.It was only about a 25-minute walk (about 1 mile) to and from town either down the beach or the road. -We enjoyed this walk after indulging in delicious meals in town.We also appreciated being away from the noise of the town.We absolutely want to go back. It's an incredible escape for a true vacation. Thank you to the wonderful hosts! If you're considering this place - just book it! You won't regret it."

"Pleasant property with huge well appointed rooms and fabulous bathrooms! Easy walk into town to try different restaurants and cafés and shop (we did not choose the all inclusive option). A long, walkable beach. The secret of this place if you like activities is Gustavo, a one-man band who teaches yoga, pilates, art classes making bracelets, wall-hanging and painted frames, leads bike trips...and more! His friendliness and energy really transformed our stay."
