"The Catalonia Royal Tulum is a beautiful property. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. The beach was especially beautiful. We had the best week here. So laidback and relaxing. I do wish there were more activities and music around the pool. But, we really enjoyed the place. We would definitely come back. "

"Barcelo Palace is located in a huge bay that is home to sea turtles, sting rays, baracuda, lobsters, and all kinds of fish. Snorkeling from the shore is amazing. They have many activities that you may participate in. Some are extra $, but many are free. If you book a premium room, access to the hydrotherapy spa is included daily. The sailboats are available for everyone to use. If you're not sure how to sail, a guide will go with you - Manuel was our favorite. There are many restaurants to choose from. All 3 in the palace are wonderful. Other favorites include the habachis at Tokyo and Kyoto. At Kyoto, Chef Augusto was very entertaining! The morning meals are buffet style, also delicious! One waiter stood out - Omar made sure are coffee and water glasses were always full. If yiu are interested in cenotes, there are 5 right the main highway. In all, it's a wonderful spot!"

Tip: Figure out which parks you want to visit before you arrive, actually call the hotel to reserve them! Restaurants, too, that require reservations. This way you'll get the most out of the tremendous amount available! Great for anyone -- except maybe the elderly? There was a lot of ground to cover every day.
