"We stayed 2 nights with the all inclusive option as part of a deal they had going on. At check in the receptionist was very clear regarding what was and was not included with our option. The food and drink choices were good, food in the lighthouse dining room was better than the vista dining room. Avoid Vista if they are doing a buffet as the quality and choices were awful. Otherwise Vista is still a good option, just not as good as the Lighthouse. All staff we encountered were friendly and...

"The location is awesome, right in the harbor, lots of night life, food and easy access to beach. Pool and hot tub were great, clean and plenty of seating. However the staff was extremely pushy with the intent to sale a offsite property. Felt uncomfortable when we declined. We did give them $40 to hold a reservation just to get them to leave us alone, and took the phone off the hook in the room, to stop all the calls. We felt like criminals having to sneak past staff just so they wouldn't trap...

"I absolutely loved this resort!!!! I cannot say 1 bad thing about my experience. We ate at all restaurants except the seafood restaurant due to an allergy. The buffet always had a great selection, the omelet station was never too busy & the cook always had 3-4 omelets being made at once. If you want something you do not see…ask! They are amazing at trying to provide you with everything you want/need. "

"This has always been a family favorite place and I always recommend it to all our friends. Love the convenience of a kitchen which most of the rooms have. All the staff are great but I’d like to give a special shout out to Angel who recognized my daughters as soon as they stepped out of the car even though he hadn’t seen them in 6 years. "We purposely searched/booked a property within walking distance of the marina due to a couple of charters we hired for fishing. The grounds were immaculate, staff was incredible and genuinely helpful, and the room was wonderful. I will stay here again and suggest paying for the all-inclusive because the food and options were excellent."

"Resort needs more restrooms. We were there during spring break and it was a little discouraging to be around so many people. Long lines to get a drink and at the restaurants. Other than that we love Rui. We stay at them all around the world "
