"Hotel is very nice, rooms are beautiful. Food is very limited, and some of the restaurants skew toward avant garde. Def review the menus before deciding. Staff was friendly and attentive with a few missed service opportunities. I tend to hold Conrad and Waldorf to a higher standard being top tier Hilton properties. Overall nice resort and very social media “worthy” but service is good but not excellent. "

"My BF and I stayed at Bardo for 5 nights and really enjoyed the chill vibes and the chill music that played in the central pool/bar/restaurant area. The restaurant and bar offerings were very good though quite pricey - I was surprised to pay NYC prices for food and beverages but this was the case at all of the upscale restaurants we went to down by the beach. The spa was also really lovely - we did a couples massage and it was wonderful! Our room was spacious and felt very private. No issues...

"First time at EDSS. We did enjoy the large rooms and liked the idea of the swim out suites. In reality, the swim outs that are elevated are cold and unused. The pools are not heated, not just the swim outs but the main pool. The pools are also heavily shaded which might be lovely in warm months but the I couldn’t even bring myself to do more than dip a toe in December. Each morning we made our way to the Palms side of Seaside Suites and preferred the ocean temperatures for swimming and relaxing....

"This place is so beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. The photos cannot convey the feeling of peacefulness and serenity that I felt as soon as I walked in. "Gorgeous property! But it’s not near anything and the taxi situation is confusing, frustrating and a complete rip off. If you’re ok staying isolated on this property then it’s perfect for the price!
