"Wonderful property, a ton of space, clean, perfect views of half moon bay. Water shoes needed as entry is rocky. Swam with a sea turtle in front of the condo. Yal-Ku is less than a 5 minute walk away. Akumal is a quiet town but very nice and this made a great home base. "

"If you are looking for a place that is away from the crowds but close enough to all the activities this is the place. It was peaceful safe and relaxing. Isidro and his wife made the trip even that much better. We had them do most of are dinners and breakfast's and it was the best food. Every meal was great. He was always happy and helpful with all are questions. We had a great time in the near by lagoon also. I would highly recommend this Place to stay. Myself and family loved it."

"Our family had the wonderful fortune to stay at Tranquility for a week in late March 2025. The residence is on the second floor and affords a gorgeous view of Half Moon Bay. There is always a lovely, cooling breeze from the ocean, best enjoyed from the sheltered patio or beneath a palapa down on the beach. The condo is clean and kept fresh daily by the housekeeper, Rita. The staff and other residents are very friendly. Franscesca, the manager, welcomes with a smile, and Santiago, one of the grounds crew was especially nice, bringing a water jug to the room and even preparing coconuts to drink (delicioso!).Akumal is peaceful and very laid back. Compared with the traffic and crowds of Cancun and Tulum, it was always a welcome relief to get back to Tranquility and Akumal. In Akumal Playa and along the road to Tranquility, there are several good restaurants and bars. Our favorites were Turtle Bay Cafe and Buena Vida which is on the water and boasts terrific views and gentle breezes off the bay.Nearby are several unique attractions that we all enjoyed, including Yal Ku lagoon (great snorkeling), Akumal Monkey Sanctuary, and lots of cenotes to swim in! The cenotes are other-worldly and experiences that were each unique and well-liked. But after a day of adventure, it was always comforting to return to the laid back and welcoming walls of Tranquility."

"La Sirena is an absolutely exquisite property with lush plantings around a lovely big pool and wide walkways leading to the rocky beach. Mother and two daughters had come to celebrate one daughter's 60th birthday, and to escape winter in New England and chaos in the US. We found peace and comfort and joy at La Sirena. The house itself was roomy and beautifully decorated with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a sunning terrace, a screened in porch, small kitchen, dining area and comfortable living room. I would have liked to be met and shown around the place on arrival but when we had questions, Francesca (a perfect gem) was there in minutes to make things right. Thank goodness not everyone reviews only online...the guest book afforded useful tips on where to eat and what to do. We were so blissfully happy with our home away from home that we spent most of our time by the pool or at the beach, enjoying the peace and tranquility of the complex. I can't say enough about how welcoming and friendly the staff were. They set the tone for our entire visit. Thank you for opening your home to us. We loved every minute of our time there."

"Exactly as pictured! We spent most of our time on the balcony or snorkeling just off the beach (an unexpected benefit). The community was a bit quieter than we anticipated, but some great restaurant close by, and can’t beat the proximity to YalKu! A very comfortable and relaxing stay. "
