Our stay at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa was disappointing due to several issues, many of which could have been avoided with better communication and maintenance. The property is undergoing construction and renovation, which was not disclosed before our arrival. As a result, many amenities were closed or unavailable, significantly impacting our group's experience. One of our rooms had severe plumbing issues that were not resolved during our stay, despite reporting them repeatedly. The toilet leaked throughout the stay, wouldn’t flush properly, and required removing a cover that exposed part of the wall. The bathroom faucet was loose and only replaced on our final night. Unfortunately, after the repair, the plumbing wasn’t secured properly, and the bathroom was completely flooded by morning. Several other maintenance issues added to our frustration, including old furniture, light fixtures hanging loosely, and holes in the walls. The condition of some areas of the property was far below acceptable standards. While the staff were polite, their efforts to resolve these issues were insufficient. I contacted them daily for four days, but no significant action was taken. I also reached out to Expedia for assistance, but they were unable to provide any meaningful resolution, stating that the situation was beyond their control. If you’re fortunate enough to get a well-maintained room, you might have a better experience. However, if you encounter any issues, be prepared

We had a great stay for our first time in mexico. The beds were not gery comfortable in the regualr rooms but the property was great even though they were doing renovations on a section of it. The staff was all amazing.

The resort is massive. Beautiful grounds and clean hotel rooms. It was hard to get in to a la carte restaurants but the buffet was pretty good so it was fine. There was construction going on but it was still fine. Swimming with dolphins was the best part!

Great service, everyone is soo nice and attentive. We loved resort itself, especially beach. A lot of space, even though hotel was fully booked there was many chairs available on a beach and at a pool ar any time of the day. There is still construction going on and some places are closed but that didn't bother us.

Property is gorgeous, somewhat of a jungle feel to it. Rooms, public areas including restrooms very well stocked and very clean. Food was fantastic in our opinion and we had a fussy eater in our group. The employees were great and genuinely seemed to like their job. The only issue we had was getting someone to fix our shower drain, it was plugged and threatened to overflow with each shower. Loved the all wildlife! We would certainly go back.

Location and clean areas. Beach areas pools and restaurants were great. But that is it . Other than that, lots of mis-information regarding events, things to do, and reservations times. Over all , staff worked hard but neglected us everywhere we were at and served other guests. Made comments to staff leaders but were not concerned and no apology given or mentioned a plan of correction. Over all experience for been a first time at Hotel, horrible and terrible. Will never ever book here again. As a Mexican National that travels a lot in Mexico and use Expedia for all my travel needs, this was the worst experience my family and I have lived. Will not recommend this hotel to any who do not want to experience such a lack of service .

The staff was great but Expedia should have posited that halve the resort was under construction. This should be posted on the website so I as a customer can decide if I want to book or not. We had to walk through constitution materials what if I had children with me would really upset me as many nails were laying around. Sitting by the pool the whole day noice sleeping in was impossible as rooms around our room were worked on.
