"Safe and friendly resort. We went with our family and felt extremely comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Didn’t worry about the kids. Everyone was welcoming. Grounds were well maintained and the resort was clean. Yes there was some erosion to the beaches but they were still very enjoyable and with many public beaches within walking or biking distance we did not feel we missed out. There’s lots to do at the resort for all ages. Many options for day excursions near by including Tulum, snorkeling and Rio Secreto."

"this was an awesome first vacation for my boyfriend and i! the resort was smaller, two pools and small beach access, but we were still able to do something different each day! the beach is not very swimable, there are lots of rocks but the beach bar is lovely to sit at and watch locals fish in the shallow water. the all inclusive food/drinks were awesome! we didn’t do many dinners here, we walked to the 5th ave shopping street that had a lot more options, but thinking about the money we saved on food/drinks during the day it made it worth it to go out at night! the staff and service was amazing, the cleaners, bartenders, waiters were all so nice and friendly. Would absolutely recommend this property!"

Tip: Figure out which parks you want to visit before you arrive, actually call the hotel to reserve them! Restaurants, too, that require reservations. This way you'll get the most out of the tremendous amount available! Great for anyone -- except maybe the elderly? There was a lot of ground to cover every day. But if you're fit and can walk, enjoy the VAST offerings of Xcaret. Expect the best service and attention, a gorgeous property, unbelievable food, and lots to do."
