"Friendly staff"

"This was our first international family vacation, so we have nothing to compare to, but we thought everything was excellent. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, food and drinks were good, room and resort overall was kept very clean. If I had any complaints it would be that at the time of our visit the water slide was under repair, the buffet retaurant could have used some updated dinning furniture (some of the chairs were a little questionable to sit on) and staff do not enforce saving beach chairs for the day so chairs often were hard to come by. We also didnt realize at the time how many extras we would end up adding to our room charges (cabana rentals, special events, wine, etc), but we know now for next time. We took a cab to the ferry and out to Isla Mujeres to do the Dolphin Discovery for one day but otherwise we spent the entire vacation on the resort by a pool or in a cabana by the ocean. The kids loved playing in the waves. There are activities available on the beach like parasailing, and body board rentals. Overall it was a great time and we would stay again."

"This resort’s restaurant’s food was good, at least compared to other all inclusive resorts. The water was very clear and turquoise. Great service as well, for example, the main washrooms were all always being cleaned. Shows could be more entertaining, Expedia didn’t provide transportation at airport despite of having transportation clause at time of payment but after payment it was not included in confirmation email and we didn’t notice to the email. As always in our previous experiences for all inclusive packages the transportation was included. So, at the Cancun airport we forced to pay $160 for 20 minutes travel to resort, and after our complaining to hotel and Expedia neither of them didn’t accept our claim. Be aware and take photos from the explanations prior any payment. "

"Great resort! Food is good and fresh a 4 stars for me not a 5 stars. But since the resort is so nice, clean and the staff friendly and helpful the food is very acceptable. They also have a great choice of a la carte restaurants and La Fleur is an excellent one. The beach is beautiful, lots of shade, water shoes are useful since the bottom is rocky in some area. And the coaties were not a problem, they had a lot less around than when I first visited 5 years ago. We had a great time!!"

"I highly recommend this resort ! it was our first vacation and we enjoyed all the food and the a la carte restaurants and the animals all around the resort is quite special. We also recommend the xcaret park it was worth it and we were lucky to see the panthers and jaguars!"
