"This was our 3rd time. The only thing we didn't like was the pressure to buy into their membership (time share) This will not detour us from going back. The property, workers, food, beach and just the whole resort is what keeps us going back. "

"This resort is awesome, especially for younger kids. The food situation is great. We loved the accessibility of the coffee shop for easy breakfasts. The rooms are nice altho some wear and tear was visible. The resort is designed in a way that it felt small, which we loved. All rooms are close to everything and the layout becomes clear pretty quickly. The staff at the kids club were great and our 4 year old enjoyed it. The bubble is so much fun, for the entire family. "If you are looking for cleanliness, this is absolutely a gem. A smaller scale resort than we had previously attended. The staff are the most courteous and helpful and willing to go the extra mile. As for the dining experience...this rates as a 3 star. The reason being is for this outstanding resort, it needs improvement. Vegetarian and vegan options are not adequate. Not everyone eats pork and beef. Very little chicken options on the buffet. The pasta at best met a can of tomato sauce. ...

"We loved our stay at La Pasion! The pool was warm and the gardens were beautiful- but our favorite part was how friendly and helpful the staff was. I had prescription I needed printed off to get filled at a pharmacy and they were able to help me late at night. We will definitely come again! "

"Been here to EPM about 10 times over the past 10-15 years and like it more than other Excellence Resorts including DR and Riveria Maya. We always got a room around the spa because it was always quiet there and away from the loud, party area which was the pool by the beach. We could hear a pin drop it was so quiet. Not so much anymore. Although it isn't really noisy, visitors, particularly those staying in the first floor rooms where they can just jump in the pool. bring their blue tooth speakers...

"Pools and ocean were great. Easy access to all of them. Only complaint it was hard to find a chair to layout in by the pools. They were all taken by 8:30 am. The quality of food and cleanliness were lacking this year, especially the elevators! They were gross! We’ve been coming here for the last six years, hopefully things will be improved by next year!"
