"I stayed here as bookends to my vacation in Mexico. The staff were super friendly! The concierge gave great suggestions for experiencing the Yucatan culture and shared excitement for my solo adventure. They not only upgraded me to a room with an ocean view on the first night, but to a Villa Master Suite with a kitchen for the last night. The rooms were clean and the views phenomenal. You can hear the music and merry-making from the neighboring hotel, but it is my understanding that Zona Hotelera is mixed with party hotels, so I expected this. I slept well both nights regardless of any noise. The pools and hot tubs were nice, with very attentive staff offering food and drinks.The beach was clear of sargassum with pristine water and fine sand. I swam for hours off to the left of the palapas. Chedraui Selecto is within a 10 min walk. You can easily ride the local bus from a couple blocks of the property to go throughout the city, even to the ADO station. They also have taxis and excursions available, if that is what you prefer. Big thanks to the staff for a great experience at your hotel. "
