"Our family's stay and property were outstanding. Walking into the location from our shuttle was eye-wideningly classy. The service was impeccable. The dining options were diverse (Mexican, Mediterranean, Asian, American, and French) with well thought out options and authentic dishes - especially for being in the Dominican. The pools, especially the main large one - felt like you had your own space - even when the seats were full. Small critiques, the location was build in 2019 and it had a feeling that being 6 years old, the rooms started to be a bit worn with the faucets and edges of doors, walkways. But still 4.5 / 5 stars. There was complimentary wait service around the pool, but staff noticeably returned to preferred / higher tipping possibly guests more so than our family of 6. But still, to get asked if I wanted a drink and bring it to us twice an afternoon was pretty solid. Also, needed to be sure to specifically ask for allergy meals, as we were told that there was no butter in my wife's dish - but there was and she got sick. But after letting the staff know the next day, so they made note and made sure our next 4 ala carte meals were safe and allergy identified with the chef. All in all an amazing trip - many excursion options that we did not partake in. But we made use of the Bowling, Water Slides, Several Pools, Beach Volleyball, and nightly entertainment were all fantastic! We would recommend and return if able. "

"Great friendly and clean report. The resort offered plenty of activities and food options. There was no need to leave the resort unless you wanted to visit the local community which i highly recommend. The golf staff Yessica was outstanding! I had been calling the Lakes Golf course for weeks proir to my arrival to schedule a tee time to no avail. Yessica was able to squeeze me in for a tee time to celebrate my birthday. My entire trip was to be able to play golf on my birthday and she made it a wish come true. Yessica was also able to find me another opening to play the following morning. Yessica’s above and beyond call of customer service made my birthday vacation one of the best ever! The entire staff was very professional and extremely friendly! "

"The staff is always smiling, making sure all your “needs” are being met and then wanting to do more… the resort is very walkable to get from the lobby and shops to the beach… we have been to a few other resorts… this was our 3rd time at the Mirage… no comparison!! This is our place!! "

"This resort was beautiful through and it through. It had its downfalls as does all places. The elevators didn’t work to take you down to the lobby most of time but always worked to take you up from the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful besides the people who hound you everyday asking you to buy things. You have to be very firm in saying no because they will not take no for an answer which can be irritating at times. But, other than that our stay was amazing. Shout out to the staff such as Coca Cola, María, Sexyboy, Ariel, and Stephanie. They treated us like familia!!"

"This resort exceeded our expectations. very Beautiful property, gorgeous room suites, and overall design . Each area is unique depending on your mood. The platinum pool and relaxing pool were more quiet areas while the main pool had music and dancing .. the beach was gorgeous and we spent most of our time there . Many bars all around the resort . At night the plaza near the lobby always had music and dancing and main lobby bar was great. We loved the nature walk and saw many birds and turtles .. many peacocks and other birds were around the property .. this made it feel very natural . The tram was very convenient since the property is quite large . Staff were amazing .. housekeeping kept our room clean , bar tenders were super friendly , drivers and waiters and hosts remembered us . Some Of the food was very very good like at the platinum breakfast buffet , steakhouse .. some were just ok.. but the valentines dinner at soho and steakhouse were our favorites . drinks were very good . The gym was better than other hotel gyms . Some negatives were there restaurant service sometimes is a little slower than desired at some places. The spa was nice, especially the hammocks and that we were able to be just the two of us , but massage was not great. Other than that we had an amazing week long trip for valentines.. thanks to this amazing resort . Great value for the price range and amazing experience."
