I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel, which was advertised as 5-star but fell far short of expectations. The room was dirty upon arrival, and the air conditioning barely worked—it took 7-8 hours to cool the room. Ants and other insects were crawling on the countertops, making it feel unsanitary. The bathroom and faucets were clogged, and despite multiple attempts to contact the staff, no one responded or resolved the issues. Additionally, the layout of the property was highly inconvenient, with restaurants and amenities located far from the rooms. Although it was advertised as all-inclusive, making restaurant reservations was nearly impossible. Even when restaurants appeared empty, they were unavailable for bookings, leaving us frustrated with limited dining options. Overall, this hotel did not meet basic expectations, let alone 5-star standards. I would not recommend it to others and will not be returning.

It was a beautiful property, but they need to upgrade the 24 hour menu. plus service on the beach.for drinks to serve to people on the beach. Plus y'all need some go carts. It's a lot of walking, the place is huge. But otherwise it's a beautiful place

I love that I actually felt the Dominican culture all over the hotel from the food to the pool area with music, the teatro and the shops. Unfortunately not so much in the discoteca which was surprising. I enjoyed my stay because i came with my daughter and husband but I did notice that the adults only section isn’t too far away. Personally I wouldn’t want to be around so many kids if i wanted an Adults only.

I definitely won’t recommend this hotel to anyone . Staff so lazy and will ignore you. Every time we ask them to bring something they will take very long time to bring and will bring completely wrong stuff . How is this hotel 5 star beats me, if u go to water park make sure u have towels or u have to go back to the pool area to get one and it takes u 20m to walk. Plus my daughter got stomach poison and when asked to bring her rice for her stomach they refused and said we don’t have it .

This hotel is an absolute disgrace. During my stay, $440 was stolen straight out of my wallet, which was left in my room—a place that should be secure. The fact that such a blatant theft could happen under their roof is bad enough, but the way the hotel handled it was even worse. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they were dismissive, unhelpful, and completely uninterested in addressing the issue. They didn’t investigate, didn’t apologize, and didn’t take any responsibility. It was clear they couldn’t care less about their guests or their belongings. It seemed like that the usual. This place is a security nightmare, and their incompetence is staggering. You’d think they could at least provide a safe environment or pretend to care when something goes horribly wrong. Instead, I was left feeling violated, furious, and helpless. Do not stay here. You’ll be putting your belongings—and your peace of mind—at serious risk. This hotel is a total failure on every level.

I stayed here for 10 days with my wife and 4 year old daughter in room 3020 and we have no complaints. The property is beautiful, and all the food and drink quality, service, etc was perfectly fine for the price. WaterPark was fun, beach was nice, enjoyed the spa, etc. We would go back.
