We had booked a one room cottage that was confirmed with Expedia, on arrival we were advised that there were no one room cottages even though I had called GBP to confirm our accommodation and to have a wheelchair available, we found the nigh desk person to be rude and unacomodating. As some who is physically challenge he tried to put us in a room on the second floor even though I was in a wheelchair. We were put into a ground floor room that had no grab bars in the shower and no handrail for the steps leading up to the bedroom, this Resort is not handicap friendly, I also felt they were taking advantage by wanting to charge $25.00 USD for a wheelchair.

We had a very relaxing 10 days. The pools are fun, the food choices and quality very good. Our only complaint would be with the Pub Sports Bar. Monday and Thursday (big nights for us football lovers; and a sport) was Karaoke (not a sport). WTH! Besides that, we loved our stay and will be coming back.

Wonderful property! Staff is very helpful and friendly. The people here are always willing to do anything. The beach is perfect but the beach cabanas are the way to go. Comfort and service all the way. Martin and Kerry kept us hydrated, fed, safe and kept our champagne bucket full of ice all day. Many paths and trails to walk or the train shuttle it’s always around. The Mangrove trail is nice, feed the turtles or peacocks some bread. Great time and will be going back again, soon!

Our overall experience during our stay was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable. The AC worked perfectly, and the shower was great, though we wished the water pressure had been a bit stronger. The resort's large size meant plenty of walking, which we personally enjoyed, though shuttles were available for those who prefer less walking. The food at the buffets was decent, as expected for this type of setup. Despite the number of guests, there was always plenty of food, and the wait times for freshly prepared items at certain stations were reasonable. The à la carte restaurants were incredible. We tried five of them, and the food was consistently amazing, except for El Gaucho, which we found just okay. The beach was stunning, and finding loungers was never a problem, even though some guests 'reserved' them early. We also loved the food trucks and appreciated the convenience of grabbing drinks or quick snacks. The pools were lively, with fun activities throughout the day. One disappointing aspect was the inconsistent service. While some staff members were exceptionally kind and polite, others were surprisingly rude and unhelpful, making us hesitant to ask for assistance. Housekeeping was generally good, though on two occasions, despite hanging the "clean room" sign, the service felt incomplete—they took out the trash but didn’t make the bed or fully refresh the room. Despite these minor drawbacks, we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this resort.

We were very happy with our rooms, location, etc. for some reason we had mosquitoes but we tried to be cautious about keeping doors closed, however the sun makes up for so much! if i had to find one complaint it would be the volume of the later evening entertainment in the courtyard area. we enjoyed the lobby bar each evening during our two week stay but when the entertainment out there started we were unable to hear and left at that point, which was too bad because they were always fun! Lisalet was usually our waitress in the bar and she was incredible greeting us each time and remembering our favorite drinks. also Maria at the childrens pool was very sweet and remembered us from several previous visits. we will be back again!

El hotel es excelente. Buen entretenimiento en las noches. La comida espectacular. Los apartamentos bungalow son super cómodos. El area de la playa y la piscina es muy buena. El area de los food trucks está super nice. El empleado Beras fue muy atento tremenda persona. Lo único negativo la actitud de algunos empleados que te atienden molestos o sin ningun interes especificamente en el lobby bar y en el buffet que está en la playa. La insistencia de los vendedores que estan en la playa es muy incomoda. En general me volvería a quedar en el hotel.

Property is large, there are golf carts that can take you around,back to your room, and to different parts of the resort. The room is nice, looks like the picture, I believe every room comes with a balcony. The buffet is good, beach is large(get there early to get a spot), food trucks by the beach, events happening daily. A few things that condo be improved upon;we had to ask for wash cloths, there were none in the room, only 3 towels, the tub was not clean, and the restaurants need major improvement. The food at the restaurants were below the buffet. The bread given at all of the restaurant was hard and disappointing ( even though the Buffett has different kinds of soft bread/rolls) the appetizers were less than desirable at the restaurants, also at the hibachi restaurant the chef had guests come and play with the spatulas, trying to toss and catch them, touching them all over. We thought he would use new utensils to begin to cook, he did not, he used THE SAME utensils that guests had their hands all over with to cook. Other than those issues , the property is nice and we did enjoy our time there.

No hot water ever. Air conditioning was weak the refrigerator in the room did not function. It could never refrigerate the drinks. No way to get ice at all The buffets were so crowded and the food was not really that good. If you wanted something cooked as an option to just straight buffet food the lines were like 20 minutes or more The entertainment was not very varied at all - same style of music every night
