"Great service, clean and friendly "

"My wife and I recently spent 4 nights at Catalonia Playa Maroma and had a wonderful experience overall. The resort is beautiful and well-maintained, though not as flashy or upscale as some of the pricier options nearby—which, honestly, was perfectly fine for us. It offers great value without compromising on comfort or service. The food wasn’t exceptional, but it was consistently good with enough variety to keep things interesting. We had very little to complain about in that department. The only downside was the beach. There was some sort of vegetation floating in the water during our stay, which made it less enjoyable to swim in. As a result, we spent more time by the pool, which turned out to be a great alternative. From what we gathered, this issue was affecting most resorts in the area, so it’s not something specific to Catalonia Playa Maroma. All in all, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience made it a great place to unwind. Would definitely recommend it to couples looking for a laid-back and scenic vacation spot."

"This is such a beautiful property! The grounds are immaculate and the my room was always spotless. The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel welcomed and taken care of. I felt so safe at all times; from the transportation to walking around the resort. The food was great. Top shelf alcohol. Good communication via the app. Excellent stay!"

"Everything from the front desk check in to the housekeeping and security was top notch. The pools are fantastic. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Bartenders are fantastic. The restaurants have a tremendous variety and high quality choices. The grounds are maintained and immaculate. I can only honestly recommend one improvement. I would recommend that there are machines for kids to use for their drinks. Kids ordering drinks from the bartenders clogs up the process some and slows things down. If there were some slushie machines with Pina colada and miami vices and a variety of soft drinks that would be way more convenient for them and take a load off of the bartenders. "
