"We liked the resort area, I enjoyed the long walk through the park, which looked like a jungle alley, from the buffet to the beach and the hotel room, with animals all around. There are no elevators, and the buildings are 2-3 stories high. There are plenty of sun loungers, and the palm trees provide good shade. You can walk along the beach for a long time. Cons: I didn't like the unjustified long lines to get into the buffet when there were quite a lot of free seats in the hall, same allergy...

"Excellent beach, food and staff. Room was disappointing. We booked a “Mi Hotelito Beachfront Suite.” It was beach front-ish, and definitely NOT a suite. In fact, the room was small by any standards. I feel a little ripped off by the room, but everything else was perfect."

"Quiet and quaint! Little cabana in the jungle. Staff was amazing and it was our first stop after airport for a night. Would go back for sure. Google map directions are not great. Just look for the km markers and turn left when you see sign for Maroma resort. There is a hamburger stop and location is on the left!"
