"I liked being able to go to a different restraunts each night. The beach area was nice, and able to do some snorkeling. All the food areas had plenty of choices. And plenty of pools if you wanted to take some time away from the ocean. All the staff treated everybody with courtesy and a smile, and would do anything to make your stay the best possible. "

We picked Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal because it gives access to all the restrants, pools and branches.But it turned out that some beaches don't allow kids, but there are no signs saying that. We've been asked to leave once. I'd say Luxury Akumal is not really kids friendly "

"We had a wonderful experience (April 2025). The grounds are beautiful, lots of pool options, the beach is beautiful. Everything is close, so you are not walking forever to get everywhere. The kids club is amazing, my children loved all the activities and the girls who ran it. There was lots of options in the buffet evey night and nice restaurants to choose from. It wasnt busy this time of year so we didnt have to wait for anything and got our spots on the beach easily. Fyi: if you book through expedia watch if the transportation from airport to resort is included, ours wasnt, we just assumed it was, so that was very unpleasant surprise. Otherwise, i highly recommend the resort"

"19yr Anniversary trip-Stay was very nice, dining options were good, a lot of grassy stuff would wash up on the beach every night but would be cleaned first thing in the morning. For the price it was a great value which is why we stayed here due to the budget. We were not disappointed would of been happy to stay more days if we could have. If you want a good seat by the water or cabana u will have to get up super early to claim them with your belongings. Seemed like people where up at 5 am and we weren’t doing that on vacation lol."

"Awesome property! Came here on our honeymoon and it was a perfect 10/10. Staff very attentive, food was excellent, pools were very clean and safe! Beaches were perfect. Recommend doing the turtle experience and participating in activities. So much fun and relaxing at the same time!! Special thank you to Francisco and Sergio at check in, Karen the concierge of building 9a, Luis David Reuben with the pool staff, Karla with the Bali bed wait staff, and Max, Mayra, Carlos, and Liz with entertainment staff - everyone of these people made the trip even more memorable for our honeymoon. I cannot wait to go back soon!"
