"We've stayed here many times. The property is showing signs of aging and the pool snack area was disappointing. Loved the coffee machine however. The trolley to the other resorts takes too long and wasted vacation time. I'd stay at Akumal or another resort. "

"My BF and I stayed at Bardo for 5 nights and really enjoyed the chill vibes and the chill music that played in the central pool/bar/restaurant area. The restaurant and bar offerings were very good though quite pricey - I was surprised to pay NYC prices for food and beverages but this was the case at all of the upscale restaurants we went to down by the beach. The spa was also really lovely - we did a couples massage and it was wonderful! Our room was spacious and felt very private. No issues...

"This place is so beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. The photos cannot convey the feeling of peacefulness and serenity that I felt as soon as I walked in. The pool area is very nice and there is a poolside restaurant and spa as well. I did yoga in the yoga tower one morning at sunrise and it was so rejuvenating. "Gorgeous property! But it’s not near anything and the taxi situation is confusing, frustrating and a complete rip off. If you’re ok staying isolated on this property then it’s perfect for the price! If you want to explore and be on the beach don’t stay here because you’ll spend so so so much on taxis for no reason. The property is beautiful and the rooftop pool is amazing."
