"This was an absolutely amazing resort. We visited during spring break. It was well balanced with nature with a portion in a jungle setting, a beautiful large beach, and a huge pool. Beach chairs all had umbrellas unlike some resorts. The Wild Beach was a moderate walk down the shore. Great buffets as well as several specialty restaurants. We were happy with every one. Many different bar areas, a pool bar, and bars at the beach. A lot of different activities happening each day. Our son was able to have interaction with the wild monkeys that live here which was his favorite memory. You will not be disappointed booking your vacation here. Perfect for a family trip. It will please everyone."

"The staff was very polite and helpful. I picked this hotel because I was told they had handicapped accomodations. Raised toilet seat etc. I was not given any handicapped accomodations. I cannot walk well and there was no food on the property in the evening. It was a far walk for me to anywhere in the area. "

"The service was second to none. Although I’ve seen negative reviews about the meals, we really enjoyed them. The beach was awesome! The pool always had activities going on and a fun environment. As other reviews indicate, the rooms are dated and require some tender loving care but we were not there for the room. The grounds were kept very clean and well maintained: thw whole process for booking an a a la cartes was a bit ridiculous as they had theme nights at the buffet for the same meals.having said that, the staff were great and the meals delicious, the drinks awesome and the beach was unbelievable! What’s not to love?! We got a great price on our rooms and had a fantastic experience. Thank you allegro Playacar!"
