"The property was awesome. It fit our needs perfectly. One bedroom on first floor perfect for our 80 year old mother so no climbing stairs. Elevator was not working but probably a good thing as the younger kids would not abuse it. The beach area was smaller than we expected but still wonderful view from the house to the ocean. Most photos taken were from the palm tree in front of pool. Awesome views. Staff was great and pleasant. We would return if we take another family trip to Akumal."

"We had a large group and chose Casa Vida for the bedrooms, large living room & rooftop area. All the rooms were as described and the pictures were accurate. It’s a really nice place. A/C worked well and hosts were very attentive to all our needs. We had several places to eat quality food within a 5 minute walk, including a market. There’s also a grocery store not too far away. I’d recommend staying here if you’re looking at places around this area."

"The is in Veleta which is just outside of Tulum it is close to the road that head to the Tulum hotel zone and is about a mile from Avenida Tulum-the main road through Tulum. The roads surrounding it were mostly dirt and that can make for a mess when it rains. I like the place. I would go again. The host, team, and crew are really friendly and incredibly helpful."

"We have been going down to Akumal since the late 90's with owners of like business in the US. In the past we have rented several condos in half moon bay. This is the first time we have rented a large facility. It was perfect for all of us. We had 3 father and sons. So they were able to stay in the same rooms. The 13 bedrooms was perfect. Felipe was a great host. The instructions of getting from the airport to Villa Bellamar was great for the few that had never been to Akumal before....

"The property is nice but you will need some type of transportation to get around with ease. The internet service is not stable. There is construction during the week around the area.
