"Quiet, private, relaxing. Six of us fit comfortably in this beautiful home. We enjoyed kayaking, snorkeling, walking down the beach, and hanging out with the house iguanas that visited every day. Two things missing: a gas grill and an actual full kitchen oven. The countertop “oven” is limited and the charcoal grill never worked. Also a guest half bathroom would be nice downstairs too. We loved having the option for a private chef (also the groundskeeper) to cook for us a couple times! Great...

"We stayed for 8 nights and had the best time! The pool was lovely and clean, the beach was very private feeling and we floated and snorkeled in the ocean everyday right there. Jose and Delfina were WONDERFUL! They made us homemade salsa (the best we have ever had!) and guacamole several times, cut us fresh coconuts to drink and eat and were there for anything we needed or to answer any questions we had. "The property was awesome. It fit our needs perfectly. One bedroom on first floor perfect for our 80 year old mother so no climbing stairs. Elevator was not working but probably a good thing as the younger kids would not abuse it. The beach area was smaller than we expected but still wonderful view from the house to the ocean. Most photos taken were from the palm tree in front of pool. Awesome views. Staff was great and pleasant. We would return if we take another family trip to Akumal."

"We had a large group and chose Casa Vida for the bedrooms, large living room & rooftop area. All the rooms were as described and the pictures were accurate. It’s a really nice place. A/C worked well and hosts were very attentive to all our needs. We had several places to eat quality food within a 5 minute walk, including a market. There’s also a grocery store not too far away. I’d recommend staying here if you’re looking at places around this area."

"We had a truly wonderful two week stay at Villa Sirena. The villa is spacious, clean and very well equipped. The pool is right outside and we almost had it entirely to ourselves for the two weeks! Plenty of snorkeling equipment as the as the beach is just a short walk away and has lots of fish to see. The sea is perfectly clear and very warm. Communication from Diana was perfect, thank you.
