"We were headed to Santo Domingo for our stay, just inconvenient to go the opposite direction from where we needed to go but that was my own fault and not the properties as I should have viewed the map and location better. The roads were tight to get into to main office area as it's off the the far back side of the wall. We paid in advance, only to find out we had to pay a deposit for water usage on top! It was not mentioned on the Booking site."

"Valentina and Andrey are the greatest hosts. They are very caring and always make sure you’re comfortable and taken care of. The hostal is located in a convenient area that’s walking distance to the beach, markets and restaurants. The place has established pretty clear and reasonable rules that ensure the cohabitation with other guests is harmonic and respectful. Just be aware that specific spot of Punta Cana is slowly developing and there is a lot of construction sites in the surroundings...

"The stay was great, Frank was helpful and welcoming, parking was secure, the location and views were wonderful. It is easily the best house in the area with friendly staff that made you feel like you were part of the family. I felt like I was visiting a relative’s home, and reminded me of Rio. It felt like an uncle let me stay at his beach house for the weekend. I loved it, and it gave a real “slice of life” perspective to my Dominican Republic vacation."

"I have chosen this property because of the private pool and the privacy I was looking for. I did get both of those. Although most of the properties in the area are separated by trees. It was not completely private. There are a few restaurants nearby, most are very expensive. The nearest supermarket is 20 mn drive from the apartment. There are a few things I did not like. "The little pool was ok- location was not in a nice area- garbage filled the gutters and empty lots - The police tried to extort money from me- My room had no toilet seat- no toilet paper - no shower head- no hot water- bugs- and the room was never cleaned in 7 days - bad first impression of the Dominican!"

"When I arrived, I was told that they didn’t have space for me, and then they just expected that I would leave. I then spent about three hours on the phone with Expedia to find me a replacement room. Needless to say, I didn’t enjoy my experience dealing with this hotel. "
