I traveled with one other person, some of the staff was a little rude did not seem as though they wanted to be there. However, Carlos and JR from the bellboy portion of the staff were very nice and helpful as well as Isabell from the dining staff was also very helpful and greatly appreciated. Yakasta was very friendly and checked in beyond the service she offered. The coupons they give you when checking in are a scam not worth it at all. Food was inconsistent as in some days good some days not so good however, the lunch buffet typically had good options. I typically eat fish and vegan/vegetarian meals so if this is you will have food options. The beach was nice but gets pretty crowded people are constantly trying to sell you things nonetheless you are still able to enjoy it. The rooms were very clean as well as the rest of the property. The shows each night were pretty good. Overall my stay was pleasant i would stay here again if i was with my family.

We had an amazing time at dreams onyx resort! We have stayed at the adult side once before (breathless) and absolutely loved it. We made the decision to stay on the family side this year because it was cheaper and we were able to walk between both resorts. We are happy we have stayed at both because both resorts are amazing. The water slides and lazy river is so relaxing and fun. The amenities on both resorts are more than enough to keep you busy and having fun. The food is always great! We’d always come back if we can to either side! Nellis (Nelly) at the preferred pool on dreams side, she is the reason we hung out at this pool! She was always on it with our drinks and food, she’s the best over there! In 2022 when we stayed we had an amazing time because of Kelvin at the adult pool bar, we couldn’t wait to come back and see him again this time! Not only is he still there but he’s now in charge or the boss and he’s doing an amazing job! we are so happy for him and proud of him! He does a great job everyday. Same with Nichol in the buffet on breathless side! We couldn’t wait to see him again and when we did he was now running the show in the buffet! Always so sweet and helpful, I love that this resort promotes great workers! Dariana who worked at the coffee spot in the buffet at breathless was so amazing and such a hard worker even being pregnant! She always made me happy in the mornings with my cappuccino and her smile! She is a great worker as well!

Our stay was great especially Javier he was very helpful with every aspect of our stay he was there for us we never had to call him because he was ready and asked us for what we needed and got it done right away also German was a pleasure with our room service nothing but great vibes from the whole team at Dreams Onyx the cooks and all of the waiters made our stay joyful and filled us with happy memories that will stay with us forever. Staff was friendly and amenities were fine. However, the facility is dated especially for the price point, the room was not clean and bathroom had a smell like a sewer issue and cable tv kept disconnecting as though poor reception.
