"We have been here many times. The people are nice and friendly. The property is beautiful. They do not honor the reservation as made. We requested two beds due to my health issues. We got a king bed. My husband ended up sleeping on a cot. When questioned we were told this was a request and didn’t need to ne honored."

"We came here 4 years ago and it used to be such a great resort that we decided to return. However, it Was such a big disappointment. The staff were rude and not friendly. You couldnt even get someone to serve you in the evening at the bar (even though we were tipping a lot each time). The food was so horrible and got food poisoning on 3rd day, food was stale with very limited options. One of the worse vacations thus far despite the large price tag of the trip. Do not recommend at all! "

Also, there didn't seem to be an expectations to tip, but we wanted to tip because of just how great they were. And it was always appreciated. Even though we like to visit a new place, I could see us going back because our experience was so good. I'm sure the management is part of the reason for the service, but I left feeling like the Dominican people are just great. Oh, and the activity staff works so hard to keep you entertained and having fun."
