The restaurant and pool area we enjoyed. However the room was in a rough shape. There were cracks on the walls, a few of the lamps were not working. Our room was not made up in one of our days that we were there. Some staff at the restaurant would walk away from us when we asked for some help, looking startled as though they did not understand what we were saying. We have being coming to Bahia Principe in Punta Cana for the past 17 years and have stayed in Bavaro, Punta Cana Grand at the Ambar and the Aquamarine and this was the most dissapointing stay of all.

The property is really nice and has a lot to offer, there was no need to leave the property. Cons; limited access to restaurants and not sure if this is always a problem, but there was a lot of mosquitos around my hotel (Turquesa).

Overall it’s a 3 star place. Too many restrictions for an all inclusive. Limited dinner reservations and given a certain amount for your stay. Not much entertainment during the weekdays. Side note bring bug spray the mosquitos we’re absolutely horrible think it could be due to all the rain and time of year.

Everything was very fine in all respects with one exception: our mattress had bedbugs. We reported it and we were told that they would fumigate our room but we never knew for sure. Aside from this it was a wanderful stay and would recommend this location to anyone looking for a good vacation spot.
