"We loved Marina El Cid. We come to the Cancun area every year with our neighbors. We like to walk on the beach but not swim in the ocean. If big waves is your thing, this is not your place. We loved having access to so many restaurants and the other resorts. The entertainment was ok but we’re not late night people so that was not a problem for us. The food was very good. The buffets were smaller than other buffets we’ve been to but good. The pool area was huge! It was slightly quieter...

"Another great trip to El Cid! The staff is what makes this resort exceptional. The chefs at El Cid are phenomenal. I would like to thank Roger, Vicki, Erik our bartender, Juan, Jose Neomie waitstaff. Fernanda during check in. The only complaint I had was with Expedia, which is being addressed at this time. Thank you El Cid for another great vacation. See you in 6 months. "
