"Came with my girlfriend and had an amazing stay. I’ve been to probably a dozen all inclusives and this was my favorite so far. If you are looking for a big beach with powdery white sand, this is not the spot, but the snorkeling was awesome. Pool was nice. The food was still resort food, but definitely better than most. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. The staff was amazing all around. The included excursions seemed like a good time but we didn’t have time to take advantage of them because we only had a quick three day stay. We go to the riviera maya once or twice a year and usually just go with whatever the best deal is when booking, but will definitely come back to Explorean next time. Can’t wait to come back. "

"This lovely place is walking distance from town and it has a dreamy beach with a swimming area, and gigantic pool. Staff are friendly, food is great, and even on a rainy day there is plenty to do. It is an easy place to stay if you don’t, or barely speak Spanish. I’ve been twice and would return again. If I want more I’ll get a day pass to a bigger resort but have never felt the need. "

"I love that this property is set in jungle like surroundings with wildlife allowed to roam free. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Service is friendly and excellent. Buffet food has a great variety, plus there are four additional restaurants and great cappucinos at the bar. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing resort with diving on site this will fit the bill perfectly. If you are looking for a lively party type place with shops and nighlife, look elsewhere. This is my second visit and I love it! "
