"This is my second stay at the Allegro Hotel in Cozumel. There are numerous things I could say about the hotel. However, what truly makes this a great place to stay is the staff! From check in to check out and every day in between, the staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful. I did have one server during a dinner that the young lady seemed rude. But I chalk this up to everyone has a bad day every now and again. I have been to Cozumel numerous times and stayed at a few different places. But I have found a home away from home at the Allegro. I highly recommend this hotel."

"We've stayed at Cozumel Hotel and Resort multiple times and it just keeps getting better every time. The rooms really need updated though, take out those horrible tubs before someone gets hurt. Walk in shower would be way better. I like the added bar by the ocean and beach service. I like how they utilize the ocean view restaurant more as well. The only thing missing is a good coffee/late stand. The coffee pot, sugar and creamer packets are okay, but a fresh made cup of coffee would be great. The grounds are kept beautiful and clean. All the shade, both by the pool and on the beach is fantastic. No 'saving' shade seats needed, plenty of them all day. The entertainment staff, *Diego*, was fantastic. Loved his water aerobics and volleyball. *Diego* was so much fun. *Keira* was spectacular as usual. Her high energy and smile is always great."

"This all inclusive resort definitely met my expectations, and more. I traveled with my family and we all had a wonderful experience. We had a bit of a bumpy start because the power was going out in our room, but the staff was quick to move us to a different room. Everyone was very friendly and serviceable. The food was delicious and the drinks were on point. The activities and events were fun for the whole family and everyone had a great time. The sunsets were spectacular. I highly recommend this resort to families as well as for couples. "

"We had an incredible stay for our anniversary celebration. We were able to enjoy all of the amenities of the hotel and had the experience of a lifetime. The second we walked in we were treated with deep respect and thoughtfulness. The restaurants were amazing, each morning we woke up to an amazing view with hand pressed tortillas, traditional dishes and familiar favorites. Carlos Hernandez with the breakfast team was incredible. He said he only worked there for a week! He made it feel like family!! The service at the beach during the day made it so we could relax completely and the evening over amazing dinner options and a sunset view with soothing live music was a dream. The private cozy ocean front and snorkeling options right next to the room felt like an adventure a few steps away. We very much hope to return one day "

"We have been coming here for over two decades, so obviously love it. It is located out of town, and is relatively small, so is nice and quiet. There are evening shows, but they were over before we went to bed, so didn’t disturb us. The staff were without exception excellent. We are not “foodies” but enjoyed all the options (although as Americans, we have learned to pack extra chocolates when traveling out of the country!). Non-alcoholic beer was finally available! The best part is the snorkeling that is available right in front of the resort. Our diving company, Dive With Cristina, picked us up at the pier right by the breakfast buffet. Potential negatives: it is out of town so you need a car or ride to go anywhere else. Currently (November 2024) the pools are closed for major renovations. A snorkeling tour was provided as compensation. We initially had no hot water in the shower but this was fixed. One elevator was out of service but we used the stairs anyway. The hotel is a little “tired” and could use some paint. I had to think hard to come up with these “problems”. Over the decades, we have stayed at five other resorts on Cozumel or the Riviera Maya. This remains our favorite by far. I would go back today if I could."

"Food and drinks were great! Above average for an all inclusive. Staff was very friendly. Facility was older but the staff was working on upgrading / painting, etc. Rooms were very clean. Comfortable bed. Rain shower. "
