"Nice hotel"

"This is our 2nd time at this resort. The location is amazing and we loved the pier pickup for diving. The staff is friendly and attentive! I would suggest if your room has an odor request a new one immediately. The first few days it wasn’t bad, but halfway through the trip we noticed our room had a really unpleasant odor. To be fair to the resort we did not report it, and we spent most of our time at the beach not in our room. However on our flight home we noticed the clothes we were wearing smelled like the room. When we got home, all of our belongings were permeated with the unpleasant smell. We have been home 5 days and still cannot get the odor out—it especially lingers in spandex material, ie bathing suits and workout clothes. Our luggage has been sitting outside for 5 days in an attempt to air the smell out and after soaking our clothes in an odor removal solution for 24 hours and multiple washings, many of our clothing items still have the odor, and most likely will need to be replaced. It’s been impossible to get out of silicone—watch bands, AirPod cases, etc and we have had to replace them. So great trip but bummed about the effects the smell has had on our belongings."
