"Overall the hotel was good. As many reviewers had stated its an old hotel that needs a bit of udates, but the rooms are big and the staff are super helpful and nice. The location is kinda far from everything but great if you want to go back to a peaceful area without all the noise of a city. The area around it is very green and peaceful. Love that they have a Lawson downstairs to pick up any snacks etc. Otherwise you will need to walk quite a distance for any restaurants etc. "

"Off the typical tourist path yet hop on the metro and you are in the heart of Ginza in 20 minutes. In an area known for its schools, there is a college town vibe. Bookstores abound. The property is located on a quiet side street. Nicely furnished. Room is smallish but typical of what you get in Tokyo. A bit hidden behind the rowdy Tokyo Dome is Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, an overlooked treasure in Tokyo. "

"Amazing hotel with high quality design throughout. The staff are wonderful, hospitable, and able to address any need. We had our bags sent from another hotel, and the bags were already placed in the room when we arrived. We appreciated the happy hour to unwind from 6-8pm each night. "Stayed here twice and had a great time both times. The area is nice and the staff was extremely helpful and keeps the place very clean. Didn't try the in house restaurant, but the dessert/parfait operation they run at nice had some really delicious desserts and drinks. My only complaint is the hostel's towels are very thin and you're only allowed one for the stay. Additional towels are available for rent for ¥200 for the stay, but if you have a lot of hair (or are very accustomed to more plush...
