"Convenient for subway or walk to Kyoto station plus buses to Gion area. Free welcome drink each evening at 6pm. Very friendly & helpful staff. Some good restaurants and a cafe across the road."

"Great location! Small room but I’ve seen smaller in Tokyo. Room had fridge, safe, and washer/dryer combo. The washer came in handy for a longer stay, and because smoking is still allowed in some bars and restaurants. Bathroom was surprisingly spacious, and clean. Quiet room. If you stay less than a week, room service includes only garbage pickup and new towels."
