"I really enjoyed my stay at this property as I haven't been back in years. The room was a bit smaller than I had remembered on my last visit but it did serve the purposes I need for this weekend. Unfortunately, there was severe weather storm that knocked out power on the day I was leaving and it made it challenging to obtain a final receipt and coffee. This location is walkable to downtown Monterey and close to mass transit. It is a beautiful property with a secret herb garden and beautiful swimming pool. "

"A great place to stay! Our room was on the second floor and had tall vaulted ceilings, a working gas fireplace, and beautiful views of the ocean. All of that for just over $200 a night (so a great deal!). We’ll definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in Pismo."

"Everything about this hotel was great, the only thing that did bother me is that there was hair on some towels as well as the bed and there were little pieces of trash on the floor. Besides that the hotel itself was really nice and the staff was nice."
