"This boat is definitely only for people that can handle the nomad lifestyle. There are no restroom facilities on the boat, but there is a community bathroom with a shower at the yacht club. The bathroom was very dirty, but I understand that isn’t the hosts fault. The boat itself could benefit from a good deep clean. Really enjoyed sleeping with the hatch over the bed open and looking at the stars. Security roams the place at night and we didn’t have to worry about leaving our swim suits/towels...

"We had a wonderfully peaceful stay on the West Star in the San Diego area. The accommodations were exactly as expected. Well cared for and appropriately appointed. The marina itself was lovely. Just such a pleasant environment to spend a peaceful stay. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They made it so easy and efficient. We would definitely do it all over again. If you’ve never stayed on or spent any time on a yacht, this is a unique opportunity. Well worth it. Highly recommended!!!"

"The tiny tucket is an experience!! This tiny floating house was perfect for 2 and the upper deck was fabulous day or night. The fire feature was so fun in the evening while we sat & enjoyed a cocktail. All the amenities were present, it was sparkly clean & the host was welcoming. A must stay!! "

"My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. Many great restaurants within walking distance and very cute town. The houseboat is clean and updated. Has everything for cooking meals in too. The bed is very comfortable. Our favorite place was the top deck. We sat up there every evening to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Mallory was always responsive to messages and made a great video to show how to find the houseboat and use everything inside. It was a unique experience...

"I spent a month on the houseboat called “Salty Dog”. I had my 20 lb puppy, Tilly with me and a friend who is a professional pet sitter came and joined us a few times. Two things really impressed me. 1., the boat was superbly equipped as if ready for a long range voyage and 2. The neighbors were all Salties - creative, fun, and helpful. Proximity to everything from a grocery store , laundry and to a pub and a bunch of great local restaurants all within walking distance was great. Parking was easy...
