"First impression was excellent. Very attractive and landscaping is gorgeous. Water for shower was lukewarm at best and electrical outlet old. Wouldn’t hold plug in from curling iron - old. Carpet in areas worn. Arrangement with finer next door for $7/dinner. Food was excellent!! Free breakfast buffet was okay. Satisfactory. Diner is clean and had good service. "

"Person at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Actual room smelled of strong orange air freshener … it eventually gave me a headache. Shower had absolutely no pressure - not enough to wash the soap out of my hair. Plenty of hot water - but water literally dripped out of shower head. Breakfast was limited as they did not put very much food out , had to ask for yogurt , bacon and eggs .. "

"We stopped here on our drive from California to Texas. We pulled in late at night but the front desk attendant was cheerful. She only had rooms on the second and third floor and the elevator was broken. We chose to stay anyway because we were so tired. We hauled all our luggage up 2 flights of stairs by when we got to the room we were very happy. It was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great the next morning. We would definitely stay again."

"I stay at a hotel every time I’m out in Bakersfield visiting family. This has by far been my best stay!! I will be staying here from now on. The staff is amazing and very hospitable. The rooms and clean and spacious. The breakfast is delicious. 9/10 and only a 9 because I wish the pool and jacuzzi was open later. Over all loved this place and my stay! "
