"I was volunteering at the AT&T ProAm golf tournament in Pebble Beach and needed a place to stay at a good rate. We are volunteers and pay our own way. I used hotels.com and saw this hotel It looked and was very reasonable. I was more than impressed with the Lodge and the room. "The location is convenient to Asilomar and the dunes. Not convenient for dining. Unless you are a big biker, you will want a car to find food. There is a frig and microwave for easy stuff to eat. Staff are nice. It was a budget stay and it satisfied my needs. There is a coffee maker in the room. I didn't like the coffee so be prepared to find better coffee out or bring your own maker."
