"Every year my sister's and I have a getaway weekend and this one was our very favorite stay ever!The home is so beautiful and welcoming. The pictures don't give the views justice, they are better than any other in the area.The hot tub was large and clean and with the giant deck, made for a great way for us all to pick our favorite spots.We will be renting this home here again, and again."

"Sally's cottage is an rural oasis in a quiet tree filled neighborhood. Her cottage is very comfortable and has all the elements providing for a short or long term stay. We will definitely plan to stay when we visit relatives in the Arden-Arcade area. We recommend it highly."

"My husband and I had our son and granddaughter staying with us. The access to the beach right out our door was so perfect for my sand loving, wave hopping preschooler!The kitchen was sufficient for our meals that were prepared as we went. It is within walking distance to downtown Stinson, where we enjoyed latte’s and treats. My son was able to crab fish right out our front door, and we were thrilled to be able to enjoy the fruit of his labor. Perfect!"

"The beach cottage is perfect for a long weekend or short beach getaway. The beach is super dog friendly with both rocky and sandy beach area. And the house is more than cozy with all the amenities. Only downside is that there is only one shop/restaurant to walk to. Loved it! "

"My daughter and I were in town for a few days looking into Humboldt for the Fall semester. The location is about a 13 minute, nice walk to the university. The cottage is fully equipped and very comfortable. Decorated nicely and very clean. Hope was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend this property. "

"This property is an excellent bargain for the price. We had some initial difficulties with signing in to the WiFi network because of wrong information provided by VRBO, information the owner had failed to update. The owner was initially hard to contact, though very helpful once VRBO tracked him down. The home is a bit dated but well equipped and perfect for a base camp from which to explore the area. Comfortable and adequate for the slightly adaptable renter!"

"We definitely plan on coming back! The only thing that I wish I could change would having more privacy the windows towards the porch had no blinds. The hostess was very sweet and helped us when we couldn’t figure out the jacuzzi (due to an Er message) and drove down later in the night to help us with an issue. "

"The sofa is not a futon but aside from that and a little confusion finding the building behind the main house this space worked perfectly for us. Just make sure you are ok sharing the king size bed for two. Fortunately my brother was ok with it and bed was super comfy. Oh and no tv but fortunately we had my laptop to watch Severance :-)Coffee and candy provided were a nice touch, and the bathroom and shower were lovely. A little cool to try the lap pool, but looked interesting."
