"Excellence El Carmen has been the best resort i have visited to date! The staff is very friendly and professional. Our swim up room was amazing and fun to enjoy at all hours. We had delightful neighbors too so we made some friends! Excellence El Carmen has a host of restaurants and food available throughout the day and there wasnt a single meal that wasn't absolutely delicious! I'm an avid steak lover and enjoyed steaks at The Grill, Lobster House (surf & turf), and other and all of them were juicy and delicious. Every evening there were different fun events to jump into. Bars at almost every turn. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say about Excellence El Carmen. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great adults only resort! "

"So many great things to share about our stay. Check in/overall stay: Our stay really began when Javier pleasantly welcomed us. Javier than assisted us with utilizing my Expedia Gold membership to access preferred services. Throughout our trip, Javier went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. He did so by communicating and coordinating anything we needed for our room and dinner reservations. He even checked in to make sure we made it home safe. His assistance made this trip stand out as the best experience we have ever had in DR. We hope to see him again some day. Others: Wester, Randy, and many others were also friendly. Wester memorized my husbands name and we saw hime every day. It is easy to tell how this property must emphasize customer experience. Food: Great choices for everyone. Again, unique with each. "We had an amazing 10 days stay, very clean, buffet is constantly changing menu , always fresh food, fruits and vegetables, fresh juices and everything is absolutely delicious! Cudos to chef! Restaurants menu were exclusive and again, absolutely delicious! Friendly personnel. My husband and I are frequent travelers, been to many resorts in Mexico and this is our forth time in Dominican republic.
