"We had a fabulous time at Brown Shuggah Villa. We were 6 Adults and three children under 3, multi generations and it worked perfectly. The garden was lovely and fenced so no one was escaping! The pool although small was perfect. We thought being virtually part of the house may have been an issue, however this was not a problem at all. In fact it was a relief because someone was always there.I think what makes this place special is the staff. We all came home so relaxed. Nothing was too much...

"This hotel is a different world, and one of the few places where they have every detail down perfectly. The service could not be better, and if you’ve been to Jamaica previously and seen the sights, there simply is no reason to leave the hotel grounds. We especially like Cottages 3 and 4, but have not stayed in a bad room yet. The private beach is perfect, as is the beach bar (“Teddy’s”). Croquet, anyone? Please don’t forget to pack your whites. The kitchen runs smoothly, and the menu is varied....

"Overall the resort was great. I only have two suggestions. Offer a food venue that is open all hours. If you miss the times for breakfast lunch or dinner there isn’t any food available if you’re hungry. The other thing is the volume of the DJ during events was WAY too loud. It actually hurt your ears. I’m all about fun and music but when it hurts your ears it isn’t enjoyable. Otherwise it is great"
