"Classy, upscale hotel in the heart of midtown. This beautiful art deco hotel reminds you of an earlier time. Short walk to Grand Central and many attractions and dining options. "

"Property is a little dated but clean tidy and warm. We noticed the earplugs provided and wondered if noise was going to be a problem but it really wasn’t, we didn’t hear much at all, either from other guests or from outside. Decent size room ( maybe not by American standards but was plenty big enough for us) and the bed was really comfy. Coffee machine worked well and there was a good supply of coffee. I used tea from the restaurant and asked for some milk for it which was always available...

"I loved how easy it was to get to where we wanted if it wasn’t walkable the subway station was right there to jump on a train. The room was clean and spacious, and if we needed anything they were quick to resolve the request. Definitely going back on my next trip. "

We were able to walk up to Times Square and had a convenient subway station if wanting to travel further out. However, the beds can only be described as Papa Bear's dream. "Perfect location for us next to the 28TH St Metro … easy to navigate all of Manhattan … rooms look bigger on the website but manageable … nice that they have a coffee maker, microwave and fridge - highly recommend going to a local gourmet deli for in room staples because eating out everyday is very, very pricey … excellent staff that took care of everything that came up as the lobby was busy everyday with guests coming and going … "
