Staff at front desk especially the night manager was not helpful and very unpleasant. Crazy that you’re in customer service and when dealing with customers to act like it’s a burden. No smiles or thank yous. Seemed like they hated working there but needs a check. It’s too bad. Doormen were nice. Housekeeping was very kind and helpful. Probably won’t be back. We stayed for a week and spent $5700 you’d think we would have been treated better.

Classic hotel nicely updated. Helpful professional staff. Clean room and facilities. Limited store, bar and workout facility. “Resort fee” for in-room coffee/tea and internet that didn’t work should be an opt-in charge. 3 blocks to Grand Central Station and nearest subway stop.

The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room had a nice, large shower and they had bodywash, shampoo, and conditioner. What i didnt like was there wasn't a restaurant in the hotel, or even complimentary breakfast. You just had a small collection of packaged foods and beverages to choose from, and it all costs.

Nice place and location. Rooms are a good size. Our AC did not work. Thankfully it was cold outside and we opened a window. Stayed 75 degrees in our room the entire stay. The walls are PAPER thin. Could hear a pin drop in the room next to us like it was a foot away. Was woken up 5 times by the people next to us whispering / moving around. We liked that we could not hear much of the outside noise / honking. Bed was also just okay. Not the most comfortable but very clean. Nice sized bathroom. Not the most walkable place but we felt safe. 40 minute walk to Central Park and a 30 minute to Time Square. We took a taxi most of the stay.

Friendly, helpful staff and clean, spacious rooms. Lovely gym as well! Conveniently down the block from a couple subway entrances to get you anywhere you need to go. Down the street from Grand Central. 20 min walk from times square. What more could you want? Would recommend!

Lovely place to stay, beautiful rooms (although could have done without the creepy art next to the bed), only one hair in the sink upon check in and a red/brown mark on the bathroom door frame. Door staff couldn’t be more friendly or helpful, reception were a bit stressed at times. We didn’t use the food facilities so can’t comment. Only a 5 minute walk to grand central station which was convenient. We were in a room that could be adjoining so found the neighbours very loud at times. The beds were incredibly comfortable and so were the pillows, would LOVE to know where I can find those pillows for myself!
