We had a great stay. The location is perfect. Walking distance to grand central, 30 Rock and Central Park. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only small complaint I have is the bathroom could have used a deeper clean.

Have stayed at Hilton in Hawaii & Fiji & properties have been amazing This one is in need of a makeover with broken door handles & wallpaper peeling off walls ran out of bathroom toiletries that were not replenished whole week it is expensive but hey it’s Manhattan Can stay in better quality rooms in Vegas for $39 on strip & that is most expensive real estate in world

Had my doubts after reading some of the reviews about this hotel but you should really take those with a grain of salt. Some people just like to complain. The hotel was perfect for our stay. It was clean, staff was helpful and attentive, food options and a convenience store located on site was a plus! Housekeeping was fantastic! Kept our room supplied with clean towels, made our beds every day, and removed the trash in trash cans. The beds were comfortable. Usually I go home feeling achy from a bad bed but not this time. The 1 king bed with sofa sleeper was perfect for our family of four. The hotel is conveniently located to everything downtown. No long wait lines to check in. As soon as we got there, the baggage storage staff was on top of making sure we got our bags stowed until our room was available.

AC didn’t work, the bed and pillows were extremely worn, the shower door didn’t close the whole way and leaked into the bathroom and the ice from the ice machine tasted absolutely awful. They also charge you a complete scam of a $35 fee each night that you have to use on something at their property our else you lose it. Unfortunately, that daily fee didn’t cover the single drink I ordered at the bar which was over $45 dollars. Completely crazy. Welcome to NYC. Unless you’re used to the insanity that is NYC traffic, I would absolutely not recommend parking at the hotel or anywhere around it. It costs you a small fortune, and navigating the people, vehicles and e-bikes is mentally exhausting.

Loved the location and cleaning staff! We had an issue with our room because we paid extra for a “double king city view” room and the room is actually one king bed and a fold out couch. We paid extra thinking it was two king beds, but there was nothing the clerk was able to do. The room was nice but there were no linens for the fold out bed so make sure you request that before you go up. Also, worth noting that the rooms will be very warm in the winter (even with the thermostat on) but you can crack the window if you like to sleep cool. Elevators are a struggle at checkout times (we were on 32 and waited about 15 minutes because every elevator came though completely full - pro tip: go up to 34 and then back down and your life will be a lot easier). I’d recommend leaving your floor before 9 or after 11 unless you plan to take the stairs. Early check in is $100 and baggage fees are like $5 per bag so keep that in mind if you arrive early or leave after checkout. Counter staff wasn’t super hospitable, but I think that was related to their hands being tied.

The location was awesome and the staff were amazing and helpful. The building is very old and is in need of renovation for the price. The bathrooms are very old but kudos to the staff for keeping the rooms very clean and comfortable. I was here with my friends for my birthday and they were not happy with the facilities.

There was garbage outside of our hotel room that another guest left by our door but no one cleaned up. There was a young child allowed to pretend play loudly on the piano in the bar which many people were saying was really annoying. Staff didn’t say anything. Not a great experience.
